Ruth Marie Hawkins, 77 of Green Camp, OH, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2012 surrounded by family.
She was born October 4, 1935 in Fayetteville, West Virginia, the daughter of Edward and Nanny Rupe.
On December 4, 1953, she married George Thomas Hawkins who survives.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by 5 sons and 2 daughters, Edward ( Degee) Hawkins, Thomas Hawkins, Gerald (Brenda) Hawkins, James (Pat) Hawkins, Teresa Harrah, Crista Wright, George (Jamie) Hawkins, and Kathy Hawkins, 36 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren by love. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ann.
Services will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2012 at 1:30PM at the Green Camp Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Rev. David Lippert. Burial will follow in the Green Camp Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11:30AM to 1:30PM prior to the service.
