Dana “Willy” Andrew ChapmanDana “Willy” Andrew Chapman, age 56, of Marion, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the St. Ann Hospital in Columbus.

Dana was born on July 26, 1956 in Marion to Glenn A. Chapman and Doris (Montgomery) Chapman Combs.

He graduated from River Valley High School in the class of 1975. He has worked at Whirlpool for 33 years and was still working when he passed away.

He was an avid gardener, cook and jack of all trades. He worked and decorated many trees for the Festival of Trees that benefited the Children’s Hospital. He won many awards for this project.

Dana is survived by his mother and step-father Doris and James C. Combs; his sisters: Victoria Jean Lowe, Christine Ann Moore and Judy Lynn Chapman; Nephews: Jason Ray Moore and Glenn Lowe; niece Brandy Fassler and 4 great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Glenn A. Chapman.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 19, 2013 at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center St., Marion from 4PM to 7PM; Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10AM. Burial will be in Claridon Cemetery.
