George F. Rush age 77 of Marion passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Marion General Hospital.
Born February 22, 1936 in Marion to the late John D. and Vena Mae (Uncapher) Rush.
George was a brakeman for Erie-Conrail Railroad, and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by one son, Jeff (Linda) Rush of Live Oak, Florida, one daughter, Denise (Mark) Dillon of Dunnellon, Florida, one sister, Esther (Bob) Bender of Marion, one grandchild, Samuel Dillon,and the mother of his children Susan K. Rush of Dunnellen, Florida.
Preceding George in death are his parents, and his wife Peggy Fox Rush who passed away May 17, 1998.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at Marion Cemetery with Pastor Sarah Schaff Officiating. Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors are assisting the family with the arrangements.
