Maxine J. Emans, age 87, of Marion, died Monday, April 8, 2013 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Miami, Oklahoma to the late Earl B. and Tenessee Belle (Brown) Wagnon.
She married Charles W. Emans, who survives.
Maxine was an active member of the Marion Senior Center and the Creators Guild.
Maxine is survived by her husband, Charles W. Emans; sons, Charles, of Marion, Richard, of Austin, TX, Max (Donna) of Marion, Mark D. (Jodi), of Milford Center, OH, and Russell J. (Deeann) of Marion; daughter, Pam Hartman of Anoka., MN, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers, son-in-law, Donald F. Hartman, and one grandchild.
Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Gunder/Hall and Folk Funeral Directors and again Friday, April 12, 2013 from 1 to 2PM. Graveside services will be held at 2:15PM Friday, April 12, 2013 in the new section of the Historic Marion Cemetery with Rev. Don Steele officiating.
