Phyllis J. Ingmire age 75 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Saturday April 6, 2013 at her residence.
She was born July 29, 1937 in Marion to the late Elmer L. and Norma Alice (Parker) Ingmire.
Phyllis was retired from the former G.T.E. Company. She was a graduate of Marion Harding High School, class of 1955.
Phyllis liked to live her life in a low keyed way, but was also active in the things she was involved with. She very much enjoyed golfing and bowling. She was an associate of the Marion County Historical Society and became a student of genealogy. Phyllis was an avid O.S.U. fan and was very family oriented.
She leaves behind a sister, Darlene Williams of Columbus, Ohio, a sister-in-law, Helen Ingmier of Marion, Ohio, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by two brothers, Rick Ingmire and Harold Ingmier.
Funeral Services for Phyllis will be on Friday April 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor David Carlyle. Burial will follow in the Meeker Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday April 11, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M.
