Donald E. Fair age 68 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare Center in Marion.
He was born May 23, 1944 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Albert and Viola (Hall) Fair.
On February 8, 1974 in Marion he married Joyce Marie Lehman and she survives.
Donald loved to fish and hunt and he also loved to play bingo. Donald was a man of few words, but he had a very big heart.
He also is survived by a daughter and two sons; Tracy (Randy) Montgomery of Marion, Ohio, Donald E. Fair, Jr. of Buckhannon, W. Va., and David (Lori) Harrison of Rockwell, N. Carolina. Three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive; Ryan Montgomery of Anchorage, Alaska, Chelsey Montgomery of Morral, Ohio, Kayla (Matt) Coffey of Charlotte, N. Carolina, and Raidon and Tinley Montgomery of Anchorage, Alaska. Donald also leaves behind three sisters and a brother; Alberta Comeau of Portland, Oregon, Bernice Balch of Marion, Ohio, Ruth (Tom) Smith of Grimes, Iowa, and Robert (Mary) Fair of Marion, Ohio.
Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a son, Danny Harrison, and three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral Services for Donald will be Friday May 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral. Officiating the service will be Rev. David M. DiPietro. Burial will follow in the Green Camp Cemetery in Green Camp, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 A.M.
