Fred C. Williams Jr. age 74 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at his residence.
He was born August 25, 1938 in Carter Co. TN., to the late Fred C. and Virginia D. (Scalf) Williams Sr.
On September 17, 1965 he married Ellen (Smith) Williams.
Fred was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Williams of Marion, Oh., four sons, Fred C. (Lisa) Williams of Jonesbourgh, Tn., Ernest R.(Susan) Williams of Caledonia, Oh., Christopher M. (Tana) Williams of Marion, Oh., Joseph B. Williams of Marion, Oh., nine grandchildren, Andrew (Mandy) Williams, Aaron Williams, Joshua Williams, Nathan Williams, Dustin Williams, Chelsea Nicholas, Samuel Williams, Noah Williams and Emma Williams, four brothers, Ernest R. Williams of Watauga, Tn., Donald E. Williams of Watauga, Tn., Buford H. Williams of Watauga, Tn., Herbert E. Williams of Watauga, Tn., one sister, Joy Williams of Watauga, Tn., and several nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by a son, Terry E. Williams, two brothers, Rev. Gilbert Williams and Leonard Williams.
No Services will be held at this time, Fred’s wishes was to donate his body to OSU Division of Anatomy for research. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
