William J. ” Bill ” Hackworth age 77 of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, passed away Sunday May 5, 2013 at Woodside Village Care Center in Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
He was born October 8, 1934 in Marion, Ohio to the late Gerlock and Maud Myrtle (Lambert) Hackworth.
He also was preceded in death by two spouses, Hazel L. Foos and Margaret McDonald.
William was retired from Stahl Metal Products Co. in Cardington, Ohio after thirty-two years of service. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran of which he was very proud of.
He leaves behind three daughters and three sons; Cathy Ebner and Valerie (Edward) Powell, both of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Tami (Ben) Wallum of Columbus, Ohio, William Craig (Sharon) Hackworth of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Mark Allen (Sharon) Hackworth of Alaska, and Robin Dale (Cynthia) Hackworth of Arizona. Also, fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive.
Besides his parents and two spouses, William was preceded in death by a grandson and two sisters; Ruth Davis and Wanda Conley.
There will be no calling hours or service at this time. Burial will take place at a later date.
