Donald E. Cocherl age 73 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 at his residence.
He was born June 11, 1939 in Marion, Ohio to the late Clyde D. and Virginia F. (Humphrys) Cocherl.
On June 3, 1961 he married Martha A. (McConnell).
Donald was a U.S. Navy Veteran, was employed at Tecumseh Products for 18 years and was a longtime member of Fairpark Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Cocherl of Marion, Oh., a daughter, Donna E. Cocherl of Marion, Oh., a son, Jon E. Cocherl of Marion, Oh., two adopted sons, Devin Cocherl of Marion, Oh., Darryl Thompson of U.S. Air Force, twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, step brother, Robert E. (Sharon) Tubbs of Marion, Oh., step sister, Judy (Richard) Murphy of Galion, Oh., and several siblings in Southern Ohio.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 @ 3PM at Fairpark Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Durtsche officiating. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
