Dorothy R. Wise age 94 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at her residence.
She was born July 17, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Fred and Martha (Newman) Behrens.
On March 25, 1946 she married Robert E. Wise, he preceded her in death on August 21, 1991.
Dorothy was employed at GTE for twenty eight years as the secretary for the President and Vice President. She was a longtime member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Green Thumb Garden Club, Beta Gama Chapter of Lambda Chi Omega Sorority, ITPA Board of Directors, Marion General and Red Cross Volunteer.
She is survived by numerous friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 @ 11 AM at St. Pauls Lutheran Chuch with Pastor Craig Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
