Edith L. Hopkins age 64 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Sunday June 9, 2013 at the Marion General Hospital.
She was born January 16, 1949 in San Diego, Ca. to the late Dale R. and Helen M. (Stickney) Neal.
On June 14, 1967 in Marion, she married George F. Hopkins and he survives.
Edith was retired as a self-employed DayCare Provider for twenty-five years.
Besides her husband, Edith is survived by a daughter and three sons; Melissa M. Hopkins of Marion, Ohio, George B. Hopkins of Marion, Ohio, Tod B. (Julie) Hopkins of Morral, Ohio, and Corey J. (Jennifer) Hopkins of Prospect, Ohio. Nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive as well as one sister and a brother; Tina M. Jones of Cardington, Ohio and Clyde A. (Beth) Neal of Marion, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren and two brothers; Robert E. and Douglas R. Neal.
Per Edith’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
