Frances E. Martin, age 91, of Marion, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Marion General Hospital.
Frances was born on September 23, 1921 to the late George F. and Blanch (Gray) McCain in Jackson County, OH.
She was later married to the late Adolphus B. Marin, Jr. on September 26, 1968 in Marion.
Frances was an active member at Calvary Bible Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, sewing, needle point, and truly loved her church.
Frances is survived by her son, David Hammond of Marion, daughters Lou Brown (Bill Brown deceased) of Marion, and Jane (Robert) DeLong of Galion, OH, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and long-time friend, Dolly French.
Besides her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by daughters Juanita Gibson and Betty McKinniss, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and 3 grandchildren.
Services for Frances are scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Floyd Radebaugh presiding. Interment will immediately follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Pall bearers will include Bill Brown Jr., Chuck Brown, Billy Brown III, Tyler Brown, Jimmy McKinniss, Josh Bailey, and Bobbie Bailey. Friends may call on the family on Monday, June 3, 2013 also at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
