Jane L. James age 78 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Wednesday June 5, 2013 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born August 16, 1934 in Marion to the late Rolland and Viola (Toombs) Anthony.
On November 19, 1954 she married Robert L. James and he preceded her in death.
Jane was a member of the Pikeville Wesleyan Church in Pikeville, Ky., and also attended the Dayspring Wesleyan Church in Marion. Jane was devoted to and served her Lord for thirty-four years.
Jane is survived by four daughters; Bev (Doug) Edler of Caledonia, Ohio, Joyce Warring of Caledonia, Ohio, Karen (Ed) Penix of Marion, Ohio, Gale (Nathan) McBeth of Pikeville, Ky., and thirteen grandchildren; Shelly Adkins, Robert Gattshall, Dougy (Bernadette) Edler, Mandy (Larry) Barr, John Warring, Angela (Ben) Little, Tito,lll (Nikki) Cruz, Jared (Dovie) Cruz, Abigail McBeth, Annette McBeth, Allison McBeth, Alexis Penix, and Storm Penix. Also, nineteen great-grandchildren survive.
Besides her parents and her husband, Jane was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Gattshall.
The Funeral Service for Jane will be on Friday June 7, 2013 at 10:00AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Nathan McBeth. Burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday June 6, 2013 from 5 to 8 P.M.
