Roger A. Mahaffey, age 56, of LaRue, passed away Monday morning, June 17, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his devoted family.
Roger was born in Marion on October 22, 1956, to Harold L. and Dorothy F. (Johnson) Mahaffey. On February 14, 1990, Roger was united in marriage to Diane L. Stakey in Marion.
Roger was employed by Whirlpool and he worked there for nearly 30years. Roger loved to spend time at Lake Erie where he enjoyed being on the boat and fishing. He loved his family and was a devoted husband, great father and awesome brother.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Mahaffey; his sons Robert and Cory Mahaffey; siblings: Sharon Keller, Tom Mahaffey, George (Mary) Mahaffey and Melvin (Lydia) Mahaffey.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center St., Marion from 4PM to 7PM; Memorial services will be held privately at a later date.
