Evelyn Kinsler, 95, of Marion

Evelyn KinslerEvelyn Kinsler, age 95 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at The DeWolfe House.

She was born June 3, 1918 in Sciotosville, OH to the late Kerney and Mousie (May) Prater.

In 1948, she married Clifford F. Kinsler, who preceded her in death.

She was retired from the housekeeping department at Marion General Hospital after 20 years of service. She was a member of Crosswoods Church.

After she retired, she was involved with the Marion Senior Citizens for a number of years.

Evelyn is survived by her sister, Mabel Conley of Marion, a son-in-law, Marvin Smith of Marion, and four grandchildren, Angie (Jeff) Hall, Rick (Deb) Gillon, Shelly (Jamie) Mergy, and Cliff (Laura) Smith. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Smith, a son, Joe Dallen Hampton, 2 great-grandchildren, Nicholas Hall and MaKenzee-Kay Smith, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Services for Evelyn will be on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Ryan Chivington. Burial will follow at the Agosta Cemetery in New Bloomington, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home, July 31, 2013 from 6-8PM.
