James P. Hartley, age 71, of Marion and formerly of Sandusky, died Friday, July 19, 2013 at Presidential Center.
James was born on November 22, 1941 to the late Ottis and Thelma (Hickman) Hartley in Waynesburg, PA.
James married Wanda Wilson in 1978 and she survives.
He retired from the Building and Maintenance Department at the Ohio Veterans’ Home in Sandusky. James enjoyed fixing old cars, wood working, and tinkering with everything.
James is survived by two daughter, Tammy (Gary) Nutter, of Marion and Lesa (George Jr.) MacAdam of Toledo; grandchildren Tyler and Casey MacAdam and Myles and Jordyn Nutter; and sister, Sue Valentine of Salem, Va.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Chapel Heights Memory Garden.
