Patricia R. Rush, age 66, of Marion, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Community Health Care Center-Kindred.
Pat was born on April 8, 1947 in Marion to the late Orville and Mary C. (Vanderhoff) Smith.
She married Richard L Rush on October 18, 1986; he preceded her in death on November 16, 2009.
Patricia retired as a staff worker at The Goodwill Industries of Marion, where she was previously named worker of the year. She also worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart, was a member of St. Mary’s Church; volunteered in the St. Mary’s Grade School Cafeteria, Community Health Care Center, and MARCA; and enjoyed collecting dolls.
Patricia is survived by brothers, John (Barb) Smith, of Marion, Roger (Pam) Smith, of Marion, and Mark Smith, of Marion; sister, Barb Rhodes-Murray, of Marion; uncle, John (carol) Vanderhoff; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Friday, July 19, 2013 at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors are completing arrangements.
