Evelyn C. Walter, age 92 of Marion passed away early Saturday morning August 3rd, 2013 in Marion Manor.
She was born December 25th, 1920 in Kirby , Ohio as the daughter of the late Elza Thomas & Margaret J. (Lawrence) Hotelling.
On August 7th 1938 Evelyn married Ermin Walter in Green-up, Kentucky. He preceded her in death Dec. 20th, 2011.
Evelyn & Ermin lived outside of Martel for over 50 years where they worked the land and raised a family.
She is survived by her sons; David E. Walter of Port Clinton and Ronald L. Walter of Marion, She is also survived by her daughter Karen I. Nance of Marion. Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her special friend Linda Millington. She was preceded in death by two brothers , one sister and one grandson.
The Walter family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of Marion Manor for the kindness and love shown to their mother.
Graveside services will by conducted at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday August 6th in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens by Rev. Gale Green. Friends may call at Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia on Tuesday from 12:30 – 1:30.
