JoAnn E. Lillge, 81 of Marion, passed away Thursday, August 15th, 2013, at home with her family by her side. She was born July 3rd, 1932 in Marion, the daughter of the late James and Patricia Price.
She was a retired employee of the City of Marion and enjoyed golfing and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lawrence R. Lillge, three sisters, Mary Jackson, Betty Kirkley and Katie Hansen and one brother Robert Price.
She is survived by a son, Les A. Lillge of Henrico, Va, a daughter Jodi A. (David) Bopp of Marion, two sisters, Virginia Johnson and Irene Price, a niece, Brenda Jackson, nephews David Jackson and Donny Bell along with several other nieces, nephews and friends.
Per JoAnn’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements have been made with Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A private service and interment at the Marion Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
