Shirley J. Carozza, age 76, of Marion, died Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Kingston Residence of Marion.
Shirley was born on May 31, 1937 in Marion, to the late John and Quintillia (Puletti) Carozza.
She was owner, relator and broker of Carozza Reality for over 50 years, prominent business person, and proud of the many associates she trained. Shirley was a member of St. Mary Church, named ‘Realtor of the Year’ several times, enjoyed gambling, fishing, entertaining and feeding her family and friends.
Shirley is survived by her brother, Robert (Joycelyn) Cancro, of La Rue; sister, Mary Elizabeth Starner, of Marion; several nieces; nephews; great nieces; and great nephews. She was preceded in death by brother, Nick Carozza; and sisters, Josephine Millisor, Ann Thibaut, Carmella Pitts, and Lena Olson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 4 until 8PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at St. Mary Church with Father Thomas Buffer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
