Dorsel E. Denney, age 72, of Marion, died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on December 1, 1940 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to the late Stacey and Maude (Roseberry) Denney.
He married Betty M. Coy who preceded him in death on July 4, 2013.
Dorsel retired from The Marion Power Shovel.
Dorsel is survived by children Edward (Theresa) Denney, Karen, Joann, Juanita, Barb all of Marion, and Pam of Richwood, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dorsel was preceded in death by his brother Russell.
Visitation will be held from 11 AM until 1:30 PM Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors where services will be held at 1:30 PM with Elder Shawn Jackson and Pastor James Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Radnor Cemetery. Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors are handling arrangements.
