Frederick Charles Ervin age 84 of Marion passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Presidential Nursing Care in Marion. Born January 15, 1929 in Marion to the late Leland and Dorothy Ervin.
Fred was a retired electrician for Erie Lakawanna Railroad. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Fred in earlier years loved to hunt, fish, fly planes, and boat, he was an avid model airplane builder.
Fred is survived by one niece, Laura Mahle. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Marlene Holiday.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Heights Memory Garden with the Marion County United Veterans Council conducting Military Honors.
