Jerry Alan Vaughn age, 50 of Prospect passed away Tuesday afternoon September 10th after a brief battle with cancer.
Jerry was born August 26th, 1963 in Marion as the son of Barry & Mildred (Roesch) Vaughn. His father survives him in Caledonia.
Jerry was a graduate of River Valley High school and was employed by International Paper until recently.
Jerry loved to fished in his favorite fishing hole in his back yard. He like to play Frisbee Golf and cheering for the Browns, Indians and Cavaliers. But he loved his family most of all.
He leaves behind his wife Tammy and his girls, Hannah Arnett of Piqua, Lara Arnett of Prospect and Kendra Arnett of Goose Creek SC. He is also survived by his two brothers, Robin (Jackie) Vaughn of Caledonia and Scott Vaughn of Marion. He also leaves behind his two sisters Cathy (Ralph) Stayner of Edison and Shannon (Kevin) Whipple of Caledonia. He will be missed by his pals Sabby & Zodiac.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his sister Jeanie.
Funeral Services for Jerry will be held on Saturday morning September 14th, at 10:00 AM in the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Matt Craig officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home on Friday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 9.
