Joan Alice Virden, 83, died early Monday morning September 5, 2013 at Marion Manor.
On July 19, 1930, Joan was born in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward and Stella Lash.
Joan graduated from Marion Harding High School in the Class of 1948.
Mrs. Virden was the 60 year wife of the late Robert E. Virden, Sr. Her endeavors included the raising of their 3 children, Linda, Bob and Doug and a loving wife in life and business.
Joan will be dearly missed by her 3 children, Linda (Jim) Williams of Pompano Beach, FL and her son Bryan (Renae) Hedelius of Noblesville, IN Bob (Shelli) Virden of Indianapolis, IN and Doug (Joann) Virden and their daughter Lauren Virden, a 2012 graduate of Ohio State University of Columbus, OH, brother in-law Bill (Karen) Virden of Pickerington, OH and their children and families, Scott and Dean Virden of Columbus, OH.
The Virden family will greet friends from 11:00AM until Noon on Monday, September 9th at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 E. Center St., Marion, OH where services honoring her life will follow immediately at Noon with the Rev. Daniel Kiger officiating. Entombment will follow in Marion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals of Marion County, P.O. Box 1147 Marion, OH.
