Donna J. Clark, age 80, of Marion, OH and formerly for 25 years of Edgwater, FL, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, October 24, 2013 in the home of her son, Mark & Christy Clark, Marion, OH.
She was born on March 18, 1933 to the late Everett Spears and Hazel (Smith) Spears Charleton Ward in Marion, OH.
Donna married Lawrence E. Clark on December 16, 1948 in Russell, KY and they spent 61 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2009.
She was a homemaker for most of her life. They lived in Marion, OH until 1986 and then moved to Edgewater, FL for 25 years, and she moved back to Marion in 2011.
She is survived by 5 sons, Mark (Christy) Clark who took care of her for the past 2 1/2 years, Stevan Clark, Mount Clemons, MI, John (Estelle) Clark, Ormond Beach, FL, David (Annie) Clark, Marion, OH and Dana Clark, Deland, FL as well as her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Clark, Marion, OH, one sister, Delores Simpkins, Reynoldsburg, OH, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 1 great-grandson due in November 2013, and 2 great-grandchildren due in May 2014.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, Andrew Clark, 4 sisters, Phyllis Ruth Mitchell, Colleen Griffith, Twila Frost, and Ann Hollis, and 2 great-granddaughters.
Arrangements are being handled by Boyd-Born Funeral Home, Marion, OH. Per her request, there will be no services, and burial will be at a later date.
