LLoyd H. Simpson age 76 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Friday October 18, 2013 at the Marion General Hospital.
He was born April 1, 1937 in Marion to the late LLoyd O. and Nina (Morris) Simpson.
On October 27, 1972 he married Patricia S. Williams and she survives. They enjoyed forty years of marriage.
LLoyd was retired as a Crane Operator with Sims Brothers in Marion. He was affiliated with Kingdom Connection.
LLoyd loved fishing, his model trains, target practicing and most of all loved his dogs, Honey and Little Lady.
Besides his wife , LLoyd leaves behind four daughters and five sons; Michelle (Dwight) Lowe, Teresa (Dave) Justice, Tina Taylor, Kathleen (Zach) Evans, LLoyd Daniel (Kathy) Bisel, Jeffrey (Roxanne) Bisel, Daniel (Bobby Jo) Simpson, Steven Simpson, Michael (Amy) Simpson, twenty-four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters and a brother; Thelma Kisner, Carolyn Simpson and Robert (Jeanie) Simpson.
Besides his parents, LLoyd was preceded in death by a sister, Betty French.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday October 23, 2013 at 12 noon at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Tom Brammer. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday October 22, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M.
