Mary Lou (Klingel) Walker, age 84, of Marion, Ohio went to be with the Lord October 16, 2013 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born September 18, 1929 to the late Edward H. and Grace E. (Hensel) Klingel and was the youngest of twelve children.
On March 8, 1947 she married the love of her life, Charles W. (Bill) Walker in Greenup, Kentucky and spent 58 years together until his passing in 2005.
Mary Lou retired after many years of employment at Cable Fullfillment where she enjoyed her job and many friends. She was a beautiful woman who loved her family and had the most contagious laugh. She touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Mary Lou is survived by her children Diane E. (Don) Walker-Butler of Meeker, Karen A. Walker-Sparks of Lancaster, Susan K. Walker of Marion, Rose (Larry) Ridgway of Hicksville, Kevin Walker of Marion, daughter in law Joan (Chard) Walker of Morral, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Charles E. Walker, one grandson, and three great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Pastor Dale Baker officiating. Burial will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery.
