Berneice S. White age 90 of Marion passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the DeWolf House in Marion. Born March 26, 1923 near Chatfield, Ohio.
Berneice was married to Alfred V. White who preceded her in death in 1986.
She was an active member of the Marion Hobby Club; Marion Area Writers Association and Northern Ohio Postmark Circle. She was a Life Member of the Mailer’s Postmark Permit Club and the Postmark Collectors Club. She was privileged to have a permit to postmark her out-going mail.
Berneice had been employed at Fullfillment Corp. Marion Ordinance Plant and the B.F. Goodrich Plant in Green Camp.
Preceding her in death are one daughter, Jeannette White who passed away in 1995, a son Charles Raymond Williams who passed away in 1940, her mother Leona Prosser, and half brother John Johnson. Surviving Berneice are one niece BillieKay Cramer of Florida, three nephews, James E. and Lindsa Gray of Green Camp, Mike and Nick Johnson of Missouri and Linda and Gary Holliday her friends and care takers.
Friends will be received from noon until 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens with Rev. David M. Dipietro Officiating.
