Charles E. Blevins age 79 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at his residence.
He was born May 5, 1934 in Greenup, Ky., to the late John M. and Lucille (McGlone) Blevins.
Charles was employed at M.P.S. for twenty eight years as a grinder / burner, and was Baptist Faith.
Charles is survived by his chilldren, Marshall Blevins of Marion, Rick Blevins of Marion, Chuck (Shari) Blevins Jr. of Marion, Randy (Cathy) Blevins of Marion, Terry (Greg) Hawkins of Marion, Deborah Hall of Marion, his longtime companion, Linda Blevins of Marion, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, three brothers, Richard (Tina) Blevins of Marion, Robert (Nan) Blevins of Marion, Homer (Dorothy) Blevins of Marion, three sisters, Ruby (Bill) Atha of Wellston, Oh., Betty (Ralph) Skaggs of Greenup, Ky., Barbara (George) Massey of Bucyrus, Oh., and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Jr. and Hark Blevins, and two sisters, Fredia Kincaid and Sarah Lou Blevins.
Funeral services for Charles will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 @ 11 AM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, November 4, 2013 from 5 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
