Charles E. “Charlie” Wilcox, 84, of Marion

Charles E. “Charlie” Wilcox, age 84, of Marion passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at 12:20 p.m. in the Presidential Center of Marion.

He was born in Vinton County, Ohio on September 4, 1929 to Ralph and Grace M. (Cochran Stoner) Wilcox.

Charlie was a member of the Salem Evangelical Church. He was employed for 26 years at the Lord’s Jewelry Store and later worked at  Munn’s Barber Shop, The Boyd Funeral Home, and McDonald’s Restaurant.

The lifelong Marion resident is survived by a step brother; Harold (Judy) Stoner of Marion, Oh. and 2 cousins; Carolyn (Peter) Hittenrauch of Marion, Oh. & Butch (Sue) Sawyer of Milford Center, Oh.

A graveside service will be held in the Marion Cemetery on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. J. Patrick Street will conduct the service. No calling hours will be observed.
