Frank E. Greer Sr. age 75 of Marion passed away Tuesday November 19, 2013 in Marion.
Born in Marion to the late Frank Cedric and Thelma Alma (Powelson) Greer.
Frank was the owner of Greer’s Mobile Truck and Tire Repair. he worked for the railroad in the early 1960’s. Frank was a veteran of the US Army, and a member of A.A. for over 32 years. He loved going to the monthly lunch in Waldo with old railroaders, and the Shovel and Denny’s Restaurant to eat.
He is survived by one son Frank (Marsha Eloise) Greer Jr of Maryland, three daughters, Sheila (Kerry) Riggenbach of Marion, Anna Kathleen “Kathy” Greer of Marion, Teresa (Leon) Bell of Florida, one brother Ivan Greer of Indiana, three sisters Sarah (Allen) Ashworth of Marion, Gladys Mae Collins friend Roy of California, Mary Napper Shaffer of Marion, eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren and many cousins and friends.
Preceding Frank in death is his wife Bonnie (Dall) Greer, and one son Kevin Lee Greer.
He served one Master he loved God, he will be sadly missed.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Agosta Cemetery with Military Honor provided by the Marion County United Veterans Council.
