Janice C. Harbin age 77 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2013 at Heartland of Marion.
She was born October 17, 1936 in Sesquehana, Pa., to the late Charles and Verna (Gaylord) Purdy.
On March 3, 1954 she married Floyd J. Harbin, he preceded her in death on February 14, 1995.
Janice was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for several years, she was formerly employed at Hill’s Department Store, GTE and Marion General Hospital as a ward clerk.
She is survived by three sons, Michael D. (Warren MacPherson) Harbin of Columbus, Oh., Richard D. (Lucille) Harbin of Indianapolis, In., Timothy D. (Joanna Moore) Harbin of Marion, Oh., four grandchildren, Melissa K. Madison, Amanda S. Harbin, Brittany N. Hemminger, Tiffany M. Hoffman, thirteen great grandchildren, one brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Wise of Lakeland, Fl., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her sister, Donna Rasey.
Funeral Services for Janice will be Friday, November 15, 2013 @ 4 PM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church,197 E. Center St. Marion, Ohio with Pastor Craig Lewis officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 7 – 9 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
