Betty A. Jackson, age 83, of Marion passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at 1:45 p.m. in her home.
She was born in Noble County, Ohio on January 27, 1930 to Perley and Emma (Bryan) Feldner.
Betty was married in Flushing, Ohio on August 30, 1957 to John T. Jackson and he survives in Marion.
The lifelong homemaker has been a Marion resident for the past 54 years, moving here from Cambridge, Ohio with her husband.
Surviving along with her husband are 3 daughters; Kathy (Kelly) McGowan, Patricia A. Walker, & Debra (Mike) Jackson-Elwer all of Marion, Oh., 7 grandchildren; Kelly Jr., Megan, Amber, Tony, Richard, Colin, & Matthew, 4 great grandchildren; Mariah, Malachi, Destiney, & Carson, 2 brothers: Charles (Anne) Feldner of Spartanburg, S.C. & Ted (Sharon) Feldner of Canton, Oh.
Betty was preceded in death by 3 sisters & 5 brothers.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home today, December 23rd, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.Pastor Joel Fetter will officiate and burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery.
