Henrietta P. Johnson, age 70, of Marion passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 6:00 a.m.
She was born on March 27, 1943 in Boone, North Carolina.
On May 29,1965 in Prospect, Ohio, Henrietta married Gary W. Johnson and he survives.
She was employed with the State Savings Bank and later retired in 2008 as a teller with Fifth Third Bank after 16 years of service.
Surviving along with her husband; Gary, are a son; Douglas (Jennifer) Johnson of Cincinnati, Oh., a daughter; Jennifer (Dr. Bob) Singh of Galena, Oh., 2 brothers; Gather (Carolyn) Barlow & Doug (Pat) Barlow both of Boone, N.C., and 4 grandchildren; Alex Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Ashton Singh, & Tristen Singh. Henrietta was preceded in death by her mother; the former Alma Bumgarner and 2 brothers; Max & Billie Joe Barlow.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in the Price Cemetery.
