James Saiter, age 77, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Marion General Hospital.
James was born on May 12, 1936 in Marion, the son of the late Clarence and Carrie (Steel) Saiter.
James graduated from Harding High School in the class of 1955. He worked for 57 years at J.H. Maish, now Folks Printing, as President and CEO. James also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his devoted wife Leewanna “Lee” (Waters) Saiter; his nieces and nephews: Greg (Sheila), Mike, Randy (Sue) and Terry Saiter, Rick (Terry) Lyon and Karen (Tom) Garner and several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Art and Donna.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Prospect Street United Methodist Church, 185 S. Prospect St., Marion from 10AM to 11AM. Memorial services will immediately follow at 11AM.
