Linda Fay Galyk age 60 of Marion, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Friday December 27, 2013 at her home.
She was born August 16, 1953 in Marion to the late Virtue and Rebecca (Edwards) Miller.
On December 4, 2000 she married Daniel F. Galyk and he survives.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, shopping, and flower gardening. Linda had a special love of animals, especially her cats and dogs. She was employed for 15 years at Kable Fulfillment and kept in touch with many of her former co-workers.
Besides her husband, Linda leaves behind one daughter, Tracie (Jeff) Cline of Waldo, Ohio, a son Randy (Christina Sisson) Gay of Waldo, Ohio, one step-daughter, Tammy Lynn Galyk of Marion, Ohio, three step-sons Daniel Dwayne Galyk, Mark Allen Galyk, Timothy Scott Galyk all of Marion, Ohio, one grandson, Deven Cline, and fifteen step-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters; Shirley (James) Pickett of Marseilles, Ohio, Joyce (Reginald) Burlile of Marion, Ohio, one brother, Jerry (Gail) Miller of Eastover, South Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother Ron Miller.
Funeral Services will be Saturday January 4, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Grover Caudill. Burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Friday January 3, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M.
