Frances E. Patrick age 80 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Saturday January 4, 2014 at Presidential Center Genesis Health Care in Marion.
She was born December 13, 1933 in Gilbert, W. Va., to the late Glennie Vernon and Audrey (Cutlip) Patrick.
Frances was a Graduate of Marion Harding High School, and went to the OSU Branch to pursue a life long dream as a Registered Nurse. She retired as an RN with the Weiss Hospital in Chicago, ILL.
Frances was also a member of the Marion County Humane Society, and was a huge Chicago Cubs baseball fan. She was a fun loving person and all her nieces and nephews were her life and she loved them all dearly, but her sister Violet’s children were like her own children.
Besides her numerous nieces and nephews, Frances is survived by two sisters and a brother; Edie and Wilma Patrick of Marion, Ohio, and Russell (Della) Patrick of New Plymouth, Ohio.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers; Violet Patrick Southward, and Vernon and Alva Lee Patrick.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday January 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Pamela Lamb-Hart. Burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 P.M.
