John Leonard Reames, age 58, of Marion, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 17, 2014 at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, OH.
John was born on November 30, 1955 in Marion, OH to the late Joseph and Frances (Miller) Reames.
John was preceded in death by his wife Debra Whittington. Always giving, he was a loving man who had a passion for people. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, listening to country music and always made time for his children and grandchildren.
John is survived by daughters, Monica (Jason) Sines and Jennifer Reames both of Marion; sisters, Robin (Dennis) Popp and Rebecca (Gerald) Neill; grandchildren, Hailey Kinnamon and Brendan Reames; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors from 4 until 7PM. A Funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Green Camp Cemetery.
