Valeska J. Harbolt age 81 of Marion went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2014. Born July 25, 1932 in Marion to the late Forest and Opal (Wilson) White.
On November 20, 1954 Valeska married Carl Eugene Harbolt and he passed away June 4, 2004.
Valeska was a homemaker and also worked as a physical therapist aid at Community Nursing Center. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Marion and Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina . Valeska was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was always thinking of others.
Surviving Valeska are two daughters Carolyn (Randy) Green of Marion, Kathy (Steve) Ginn of Fayetteville, North Carolina, one son Phil (Susie) Harbolt of Marion, two sisters, Ellen (Roy) Adams, Beverly (Dale) Lama, one brother Gary White, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding Valeska in death are one son Larry Harbolt, one sister, Betty White, and one brother Paul White.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Baptist Church 244 South Main Street with Dr. Rick Farmer Officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery.
