Juanita Belle Callahan, 93, of Marion

Juanita Belle CallahanJuanita Belle Callahan age 93 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Presidential Center Genesis Healthcare.

She was born September 12, 1920 in Marion, Ohio to the late Lester L. and Elizabeth J. (Powell) Plotner.

On June 4, 1939 in Richwood, Ohio, she married Allen B. Callahan, he preceded her in death on October 11, 1999 in Springhill, Fl.

Juanita graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1938, she was owner/operator of Tomorrow Treasures in McRae, Ga.
she is survived by her children, Sandra (Marvin) Guider of New Bloomington, Oh., Ronald (Carolyn) Callahan of Temple Terace, Fl., James (Tina) Callahan of Nashville, Tn., 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, her sister, Helen Robbins Paratore of Marion, Oh, and her brother, Fredrick Feeney of Dublin, Oh.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Callahan and her granddaughter.

Visitation for Juanita will be Monday, February 10, 2014 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 11, 2014 @ 10 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Ziraldo officiating and assisted by great grandsons Matthew and Jordan Nations. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
