June Ann Burggraf, age 84, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 10:35 p.m. in the Presidential Center, Marion.
She was born on June 1, 1929 in Knox County, Ohio to the late Glenn and Dee (Tyson) Taylor.
June married William M. Burggraf in Greenup, Kentucky in 1947 and he preceded her in death in Marion, Ohio on February 28, 1996.
The longtime Marion resident was employed for over 40 years as a clerk with Fulfillment Corporation of America until her retirement in 1997.
She is survived by a daughter; Brenda (Alexander) Blevins of Marion, Oh., 1 son; Marshall W. Burggraf of Marion, Oh., 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. June was preceded in death by a son; Michael Burggraf, 1 brother; Donald Burggraf, and 1 sister; Mary Coon.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Sunday, March 2, 2014, from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Grover Caudill on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Caledonia Cemetery.
