Roger A. Slack age 61 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday February 5, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Kenton, Ohio on February 24, 1952 to Howard C. and Betty A. (Schreck) Slack. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Marion.
Roger was retired as Vice President of Sales after fourteen years with America’s Floor Source. He recently was awarded Top Dog Sales Person and also was the first person inducted into the Hall of Fame for America’s Floor Source.
Roger liked to golf and play pool. He was a big Cleveland Indians Baseball Fan and he was a fan of Sports Cars. His co-workers described him as loyal, a good friend, compassionate, and a great teacher. His family seen him as a humble man.
Besides his mother, Roger is survived by a daughter, Adrienne (Chad) Fogle of Marion, Ohio, two grandsons, Keagan Fogle and Mitchell Fogle, and a sister, Linda (Dennis) Smith of Marion, Ohio. Also surviving is a special cousin, Rita (Will) Roloson of Cincinnati, Ohio, and numerous cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Roger on Saturday February 15, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 P.M.
