Velma Louise TaylorVelma Louise Taylor, age 85, of Marion, died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Heartland of Marion.

Velma Louise was born on March 15, 1928 to the late Samuel B. and Laura (Borders) Arnett in Salyersville, KY.

Velma Louise was preceded in death by husband John Taylor.  She retired from GTE after 15 years of employment and was a former member of The American Legion.

Velma Louise is survived by grandchildren, Lisel Brunson, Samantha Hall, Jason Brunson, and Taylor Hall; great grandchildren, Aryia and Kaedem Redmond; sister, Lillian Sue (Bob) Pressnall; and daughter-in-law, Lana (Heffner) Hall.

Velma Louise was preceded in death by son, Jason Daniel Hall and three brothers.

A graveside service will be observed at 2PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at The Greenmound Cemetery in Kilbourne, OH.
