Donald R. Broughton age 59 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at Presidential Center Genesis Health Care.
He was born December 28, 1954 in Fayette, W. Va., to the late Claude W. and Lula May (Williams) Broughton.
Donald worked in machine maintenance with Wyandot, Inc. He worked at Haines Manufacturing until they closed, then he went to Wyandot. Don was a graduate of Marion Harding High School.
He loved fishing and watching the Cincinnati Reds.
He leaves behind three sisters and three brothers; Dorothy (Dale) Roush, Barbara (Paul) Douglas, Diane Meade, Everett Lee (Sheila) Broughton, Floyd (Carol) Broughton, and Tommy (Janet) Broughton, all of Marion, Ohio. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday March 22, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dwight Hord. Burial will follow in the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday March 21, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M.
