Harold J. Collins age 66 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born January 28, 1948 in Marion, Ohio to the late Calvin C. and Ida F. (Malone) Collins.
On May 19, 1989 he married Ortha M. (Kimbler) Aldridge Collins, she survives in Marion.
Harold was employed at the City of Marion as a equipment operator for 34 years, he retired in 2002. In his spare time he loved riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, his children, Michael Collins of Ky., Kevin (Debra) Aldridge of Marion, Oh., step children, Richard (Lisa) Collins of Marion, Tina Aldridge of Marion, Oh., 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Abby (James) Lake of Marion, Oh., Lela (Fred) White of Marion, Oh., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jim Collins.
Visitation for Harold will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 5 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, March 21, 2014 @ 10 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral with Marvin Tiller officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
