David E. Gay “Moose”, age 59, of New Bloomington, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 8, 2014.
David was born in Marion, OH on December 30, 1954 to the late Donald and Virginia (Flinchbaugh) Gay.
He was a 1974 graduate of Elgin High School and worked as a truck driver. Moose was a member of GWRRA’s Marion Chapter, enjoyed motorcycles, trains, traveling, and spending time with family. He was always the life of the party, and knew how to bring a smile to everybody’s face.
Moose is survived by wife, Brenda Jones; sons, Eric Joseph (Julie) Gay of Kenton, OH, and Eric (Jessica) Jones of Marion, OH; daughters, Lisa (Roger) Cobb of La Rue, OH and Barbara (Anant) Manu of Westerville, OH; brother, Roger; sisters, Peggy, Kathy, Judy, and Nancy; along with grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by one brother, Donald “Spike.”
Visitation will be from 10AM until noon on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors where a memorial service will be held at noon with Minster Matt Dahm officiating.
