Thomas E. Thompson age 73 of Marion passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at Marion General Hospital. Born September 25, 1940 in Marion to the late Buchtle and Edith (Clonch) Thompson.
Thomas retired as a machine operator at Eaton Corporation.
He is survived by two sons Thomas J. Thompson of Marion, Walter E. (Debbie Green) Thieshen of Akron, two daughters Heather S, Thompson of Marion, Pamela J. (Jerry) Hill of Marion, one brother Richard Thompson of Marion, three grandchildren, Sherry R. Thompson, Shawn P. Thompson, and Kierra Thompson all of Marion. Preceding Thomas in death are his parents, wife Sherry (Lowery) Thompson, one brother Bud Thompson, and one sister Sally Clark.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Rev. Charles Bowling Officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery.
