Evelyn H. Arnett age 77 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at her residence.
She was born May 23, 1937 in Bevinsville, Ky., to the late Tom and Hattie “Slow” (Hall) King.
In 1953 she married Harlos Hall, he preceded her in death, on November 5, 1974 she married Leslie Arnett, he also preceded her in death on September 7, 2003.
Evelyn was a longtime resident of Marion, Ohio where she was a member of Marion Christian Center and American Legion Post #584 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Angela Pfarr of Marion, OH., Beverly (Kevin) Newsome of Liberty, SC., Terry (Marcella) Hall of Moyock, NC., Tommy (Brenda) Hall of Weeksbury, KY., 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her brother, Leon King of Henderson, NV., and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis King and her sister, Elva “Tudy” Samons.
Visitation for Evelyn will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 from 5 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, 122 W. Columbia St. Marion, Ohio. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 12 noon at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Wilson officiating, Burial will follow at Green Mound Cemetery in Killbourne, Ohio.
