Glen E. Miley age 78 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at his residence.
He was born November 21, 1935 in Marion, Ohio to the late Elmer H. and Mae M. (Voight) Miley.
Glen was a lifetime resident of Marion, Ohio where he was employed at Huber Manufacturing for 21 years, Marion Power Shovel for 10 years and retired from Central Soya after 10 years as a Stationary Boiler Fireman.
He loved playing fastpitch softball years ago for Werley Pharmacy and loved watching his sons play in baseball games over the years.
Glen is survived by his wife, Jerri Miley of Marion, Oh., three sons, Jerry Miley of Ypsilanti, Mi., Gary (Darlene) Miley of Marion, Oh., Kelly (Julie) Miley of Marion, Oh., six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his sister, June Augustine of Marion, Oh., and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Miley, his brother, Ralph Miley, three sisters, Geneva Chatfield, Edith Alexander and Ilene Thompson.
No visitation will be held, Graveside services will be held at Grand Prairie Cemetery at a later date. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
