Andrew R. Fleming, 31, of Waldo, OH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 11, 2014.
Born on December 7, 1982 to Gerald and Sonja (Olvey) Fleming, who survive. He was the youngest of their 11 children.
A believer in Christ, Andrew grew up attending the Waldo United Methodist Church where he loved playing the piano as a young boy, but had more recently been attending St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Andrew will live on through his daughter, Kayleen Andraya Fleming; “His little girl” was his proudest accomplishment. He loved taking her to the zoo, amusement parks, watching movies, and reading books with her.
He is also survived by 4 brothers, Peiter (Julia) Flemimg of Prospect, Oh., Guy (Tammy) Williams of Radnor, Oh., Mark (Jeanette) Fleming of Worthington, Oh., & Christopher (DeAnn) Fleming of Cincinnati, Oh., 6 sisters; Jocelyn (Jonathan) Fleming-Williamson of Delaware, Oh., Meggann (Steven) Thompson of Delaware, Oh., Shawna Kern of Prospect, Oh., Jenine (Robert) Rucker of New Underwood, South Dakota, Colleen (Doug) Potts of Marion, Oh., & Annette Haggarty of Powell, Oh., uncles and aunts, many nieces, nephews including his nephew, Gary Jackson Jr, who was more like a brother, a special Aunt Suzanne Butak, grandmother Betty Olvey, as well as many friends.
He enjoyed reading a wide variety of print, but lastly he reread The Holy Bible. Andrew loved his parents and family, life and living it to the fullest, laughing, pulling practical jokes with/on loved ones, all of God’s creatures- both big and small, and music, but above all, he was most proud of and cherished his precious, smart and beautiful little girl, and the many wonderful times they spent together.
He was a genius in his own right. Andrew always only saw the best in others, was always open-minded, never judging a soul, and was always quick to help others in need.
He was very beloved by many, will forever be missed, but also forever in all our hearts.
Andrew had been an employee of Fleming Construction Company for 11 years, was a member of the 2001 class of River Valley, where he was a member of the RV Marching Band and Jazz Band, was a member of the soccer team through Jr. High. And was in 4-H for many years. He was a past member of the Marion Community Band and the Bassoon Quartet.
Preceding him in going to heaven are his paternal grandparents, Donald and Opal Fleming, of Prospect, OH, maternal grandparents Gordon Olvey, and Anne Willoughby.
